To answer your question about why my Riku Harada wall is so dark, I'm not sure...
I remember riku being a good bit brighter myself. Thanks though, I'll probably modify it later.

Thx for commenting on my FFX wall "Among the Stars". If you mean if the background was made from scratch, then yes, the whole background (including the font) was made from scratch (with the help of lots of brushes ^_^; ). The scan, of course, was not made from scratch XD
